The perfect way to celebrate the most special of all occasions - the arrival of a new baby! We love a baby shower and we host many.

Available every day that we are open between 12 noon and 3.00pm but we do need 7 days notice if your shower is for 10 or more - this is so we can prepare everything freshly for you! The venue is closed every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

Your table will be laid when you arrive with beautiful vintage cups, saucers and plates and gold chiffon runners. Quirky old tea pots. And flutes for your fizz!

You will receive bottomless cups filled with either your choice of Exmoor organic tea or our locally roasted Brazier coffees. 

Plus a 200ml bottle of deliciously chilled Italian prosecco each to either drink with tea or take home to enjoy later. If you wish you can have the tea without fizz, or with alcohol free bubbles.

And to eat ..... a selection of finger sandwiches to include cheddar with chutney, West Country ham,  and cucumber with black pepper.

Cheese shortbreads, smoked salmon blinis, little tarts with cherry tomatoes and cheddar &   Kettle crisps.

The sweet selection .... little scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, chocolate brownie, little shot glasses of Eaton mess or lemon posset with blueberries or chocolate mousse with raspberry.

Shortbread hearts, mini chocolate eclairs, fruit macarons, chefs flapjack, little cups of meringues.

We do reserve the right to make small changes if its necessary. We can cater for all dietary issues - we just need advance notice. Special diet teas will be served separately to avoid cross contamination. 

£27.50 per person payable online at least 24 hours before your event.

Under 18s can have a smaller tea without the Prosecco for £15.00.

The smaller tea is not available to adults.

The adult tea without Prosecco is £25.00.

We have several options available for your baby shower depending on numbers and your choices. For larger events we can offer our downstairs dining room for an exclusive space - this would be for groups of over 25 people.

Smaller groups would either share the space upstairs with our regular restaurant guests or be seated downstairs depending on our other commitments. We cannot guarantee exclusive space for groups under 25 unless you have agreed a room hire fee. Downstairs is available for hire for smaller groups.

We try to keep rules to a minimum but we want to be clear about what we can do. This is simply because in the past a few groups have caused us issues with other customers.


 Before your event we will agree numbers with you so we have enough space to allocate - we once had a group booked for 10 people who brought 6 children without us knowing - they thought it was our fault we didn't have enough space!

You may decorate the tables but not the walls or windows. We ask that you don't use anything sticky or confetti on the table. Confetti stains the tables when it gets wet.

Balloons are fine but please be considerate of others using the venue. If you have a smaller group that wants more space you can ask about our room hire fees.
